New niche British perfumery house Bohemian Naturals debuts its artisan fragrance collection inspired by the evocative relationship between world travel, global culture and universal romance.

Indian Davana – an ethereal and exotically spicy blend that captures the mysterious beauty of India. An earthy vintage patchouli is softened by amber, grounded by sandalwood with a top note of uplifting pink grapefruit to send you into olfactory nirvana.

Thai Sunshine – inspired by the land of smiles, this energising blend opens with top notes of herbaceous lemongrass with a heart of freshly cut lime, spicy ginger and light white flowers, and crisp cedar wood at its base

Amber Rose – a warm and sultry scent reminiscent of balmy spanish summer nights fuelled by the passion and romance of flamenco which unites mid notes of opulent roses with a base of woody, powdery amber and tobacco leaf, and top notes of peppered Italian bergamot.

Handcrafted with rare and pure botanical essences (used by most perfume houses in synthetic form due to their high cost), certified organic alcohol and skin-softening orchid flower extract, the 100% natural perfumes are free from synthetic chemicals and known irritants making them especially suitable for those with skin sensitivities. Uniquely rich and dynamic, the scents evolve on the skin to reveal the subtle nuances of each natural ingredient over time as each layer of notes gives way to the notes below.

The scents, which have been two years in the making, are the culmination of creator and perfumer Shannon Victoria’s passions and Californian ideals, embracing natural beauty and world exploration. “Each fragrance contains the botanical essences of flora significant to the region that it was inspired by.”

The fragrances feature a roller applicator and are presented in a silk pouch handmade from fabric found by the perfumer in a Parisian market underneath the shadow of the Sacre Coeur, which nestle inside an artfully designed gift box handwritten with the date the scent was created. It’s always a genuine thrill to attend this event and have the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the industry. I have been completely honoured to make 15th place in the ‘Top 20′ of the 2011 and 2012 editions of the Yearbook and honestly thought a ‘hat-trick’ would be wishing thinking…..

But to my complete and unexpected delight, I had moved up to 8th place! A glass of champagne was required to help the news sink in, naturally! I would like to extend my congratulations to everyone who made the ‘Who’s Who’ list, and my sincere thanks and appreciation to those who kindly voted for me and to the Natural Beauty Yearbook team.
